My favorite morning show in Washington is the Jackie and Bender show on KISS 106.1. Last Friday Bender was pulled out of the studio by Big Boss Becky and we were later informed that he had been suspended for something he had said or done - he wouldn't apologize on air so he was going to be suspended. I spent part of the weekend seeing if I could find out any information on the Internet. Yesterday morning I anxiously awaited the explanation for the suspension.Yes . . . . . . .Bender has been suspended . . . . . . . . . . he is suspended 65 feet over the Mayflower Truck in the Top Foods parking lot in Edmonds 21900 Hwy 99! Every year right before Thanksgiving Jackie and Bender do a food drive called Thanksgiving on The Mayflower. One of the personalities spends 24 hours a day on top of a Mayflower Truck trying to get t
he truck filled with donations. This year they don't have much time and with the hard economic times that have hit our area they wanted to make sure there was a lot of buzz surrounding this event. So - Bender is suspended 65 feet above the truck until tomorrow morning at 730. If you are in the area please go to the Top Foods in Edmonds and donate some food.
